TOGETHER FOR CLEANER SEAS
The German Fishing for Litter project has been steadily growing for more than a decade. It now includes 170 vessels in 18 ports, along the entire North and Baltic Sea costs of Germany.
“Fishing for litter is an ideal project. We should all support it. We tell all of our colleagues: ‘this makes sense’!“
Karsten Noormann, Crab Fisherman
Fishing for Litter in Germany is coordinated by leading nature protection organisation NABU. It is supported by the Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) and the federal states of Schleswig-Holstein and Lower Saxony.
